Sew My Goodness Sewing Kit: Vanilla Soy Gato

Sew My Goodness Sewing Kits provide everything a child needs to begin their sewing adventure. We have spent hours working with children to understand what they need to be successful when learning to sew. First on the list: Fun! Our kits are inspired by our students and their interests.  To maximize motivation, we have carefully curated a cast of characters meant to inspire kids to complete their creations. Our instruction books are each narrated by a disassembled character who desperately wants to become a real stuffed friend. Second: We provide detailed instructions and try to anticipate every question and obstacle to completing a project. After teaching hundreds of kids to sew, we are pretty good at predicting the trouble spots and helping your child work through them. Books are illustrated with detailed pictures and clear instructions. Third: We encourage feedback! We want to hear from you! Sewing is connection and we seek to create a collaborative relationship with each child who sews with us. We Iove to get your feedback, stories, suggestions, pictures and ideas for new characters!  We include precut fabric, a needle, needle threader, straight pins, thread, stuffing, and scrap fabric for practicing. Finally, because we know that all kids learn differently, our kits come with a link to optional video instructions.
